In the lock system, an "emergency lock" (also called an emergency lock, escape lock or emergency opening device) is a lock designed specifically for emergency situations. Its core purpose is to allow the door lock to be opened quickly and safely from the inside or outside in the event of a fire, earthquake, power outage or other emergency to ensure the safety of personnel or facilitate rescue.

The main uses of emergency locks:
1. Emergency escape
In the event of an emergency such as a fire or earthquake, personnel can quickly open the door lock from the inside to escape without keys, passwords or complex operations.
Usually equipped with an anti-mislocking mechanism or a push-to-open escape function (such as a fire door crossbar).
2. Emergency opening
Managers or rescuers can force the lock to open from the outside through specific keys, tools or hidden emergency devices to enter the room for rescue or crisis handling.
3. Ensure life safety
It is widely used in crowded areas such as hospitals, schools, hotels, shopping malls, subways, office buildings, etc. to prevent casualties caused by door lock failure or manual locking.
4. Linkage with fire protection system
Some advanced emergency locks can be linked with the fire alarm system to automatically unlock or release the door latch when the alarm is triggered, providing an unobstructed escape route.
